La Bastide de Puget

An 18th-century Provençal manor, all yours for an evening or a whole weekend.

The house

This is no venue hire. We open our home to you.

On the edge of Aix-en-Provence, an authentic 18th-century Provençal manor. Around it, four hectares of parkland shaded by century-old trees, where fountains, ponds and statues answer one another.

The bastide is yours exclusively, for one evening or a whole weekend: the house, the park, the pool and the four suites. For more than twenty-five years, alongside caterer Roland Paix, we have put all our know-how into making your celebration perfect.

Rustic, Provençal & romantic.

    Getting ready

The day begins in the quiet of the house. Hair, make-up, the dress: rooms dressed in antique fabrics and soft natural light are made for these hours.

  2. The newlyweds leave the ceremony under confetti, surrounded by their guests
Guests arrive in the garden, beneath the cypress trees
    4pm The great lawn

    The ceremony

On the great lawn, by the pond. White chairs are set up and cleared by the caterer, and a buffet of lemonade and iced tea welcomes your guests as they arrive.

  3. A speech for the newlyweds, among the guests on the lawn

    Cocktail hour

On the park lawn, in front of the house. Garden tables, wrought-iron chairs and rattan lounges seat fifty. Musicians play beneath the trees.

  4. The newlyweds raise a glass at the head table, facing the lawn

8:30pm The terrace, under the plane trees

    Dinner

Tables are laid on the terrace, beneath the plane trees. As night falls, the terrace lights up and dinner under the stars begins. The cooking is by Roland Paix.

  5. The first dance in the salon, under the guests' sparklers
The newlyweds embrace on the salon dance floor, guests all around
    11pm The dance hall

    The party

The dance hall opens straight onto the terrace: you move from dinner under the stars to the dance floor without ever leaving the party. On the decks, one of our two exclusive partner DJs, and the music plays until 5am.

  6. The estate pool, edged with lawn and tall trees

The spaces

One estate, a thousand settings.

Indoors and out, every moment has its place. And if the sky hesitates, the salons, the covered terrace and a 110 m² outbuilding take over.
